Joaquín Capa

Joaquín Capa was born in Santander in 1941. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Madrid. He also studied Philosophy in Madrid and Rome, Architecture in Madrid, and Sociology of Art in Paris. He investigated new engraving techniques at the Atelier 17 of W.S. Hayter in Paris. - Guest Professor at the University of Baroda. India. 1983,1989, and 1990. - Fundación Juan March Scholarship. 1975-1976. - Scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Culture. 1983-1984. - Grand Prix of the 1st International Biennial of Bhopal. India. 1989. - First Prize of the Cairo Biennial. Egypt. 1994.
